PVP Democrats Monthly Meeting

The PV Democrats will he holding out monthly meeting on Saturday, April 27 in the Community Room at the Peninsula Center Library. Please come early–we gather at 2 pm to socialize with like-minded democrats. Also, remember that the new parking ramp is now open (between the library and the Promenade) and the upper level is intended for library parking and provides access without stairs.

This month, we will hear from Phillip Verbera, who will speak about the new voting system being implemented for the 2020 primary elections.

Mr Verbera is manager of the Community and Voter Outreach Operation of the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk office. He was scheduled to speak at our March meeting, but couldn’t attend. Mr. Verbera joined the Registrar’s Governmental and Legislative Affairs division in 2012 to manage the Community & Voter Outreach Operation where he received a crash course in outreach during the 2016 Presidential Primary Election. He is working diligently to expand community and voter outreach operations in Los Angeles County.
