Join us for our in-person club meeting. Our meeting starts at 2:30 pm, but join us at 2:00 pm to chat with other Democrats.
We have resumed in-person meetings at the Peninsula Center Library Community Room. To ensure COVID safety, we’re asking all in-person attendees to wear an N95, KN95, or a KF94 equivalent MASK. Zoom access will be provided for those who cannot attend in-person. To protect attendees, we will not be serving refreshments at this meeting.

Please join us to hear Michael Hiltzik, LA Times business columnist and blogger, speak about his latest ruminations and what to expect in 2023. Mr Hiltzik has been making it a tradition to join us at the beginning of the year since 2021. Last February, he shared his thoughts about Crypto, inflation, messaging by Democrats, congressional Republicans, and refusing COVID vaccinations.

Michael Hiltzik shared the 1999 Pulitzer Prize with colleague Chuck Philips for articles exposing corruption in the entertainment industry. His latest book, published in May 2020, is Iron Empires: Robber Barons, Railroads, and the Making of Modern America.
