The LACDP meeting was held on Tuesday November 15.  Tim McOsker, newly elected CD15 Councilmember, gave brief comments thanking LACDP for their support on his strong win.  LACDP Chairman Mark Gonzalez gave an overview of voter turnout.  The data showed that over 90% of LACDP candidates won their race.  Voter turnout was 33% with 1.8 million ballots returned.  Registered Democrats represented the bulk of the votes returned with 1.1 million.  Lastly, it was announced that the special election to replace former LA City Council President Nury Martinez (CD6) will be April 4, 2023.
