Since 2016 the Palos Verdes Democrats have held their Installation of Officers Picnic on the lovely grounds of St Luke’s Presbyterian Church (26825 Rolling Hills Rd, RHE). Sadly, in 2020 we weren’t able to do that and I don’t have to tell you why.
But in 2021, we’re back and looking forward to a great picnic and a great political program to kick off our new fiscal year (oh, and membership dues are now due for the 2021-2022 membership year).
Our fabulous Congressman, Ted Lieu, will headline the program and he’ll be joined by a number of our local Democratic elected officials (yes, we have a bunch, actually).
So, you will be able to ask your burning question of national significance as well as complain about a pothole near your home. You won’t want to miss out on this comprehensive opportunity!
The picnic this year will be in the form of box lunches provided by Lunada Market and Deli. Each box will contain a signature sandwich, potato salad, chips and pie. We’ll have sodas and water available, as well. The suggested donation tiers are:
$20 for food, drinks and program
$3 for drinks and program (you bring your own food or choose not to eat)
$0 for program only
The signature sandwich choices are:
