The current District 4 seat on the LA County Board of Supervisors is currently held by out-going Republican, Don Knabe. Janice earned the LA County Democratic Central Committee endorsment for this position, which helps manage a $30B county budget.
Janice has also won the endorsements

In the June primary, Janice came in first, but a few percentage points short of the 50% result that would have prevented a run-off against Republican Steve Napolitano in November.
