Here are some EARTH DAY teachable moments to check out:

Jane Fonda is now conducting Teach-Ins on her Fire Drill Fridays.  Her last FireDrillFriday rally was on March 6th at San Pedro City Hall (check out our coverage of the event in our April 2020 Newsletter).  From Jane’s website, https://firedrillfridays.com/from-jane/, she says, “To prioritize the health and well being of Fire Drill Fridays community, we’re shifting from in-person rallies to online ones! Frontline’s Plastic Wars premiered March 31, 2020 – The Oil industry, in light of the growing renewable energy industry, is banking on pivoting their resources to more and more plastics.  In 1988, the plastic industry co-opted the recyclable logo to identify the predominant plastic material used in the manufacture of their product knowing there wasn’t an economical infrastructure to recycle plastics!
