Over 180 guests and speakers attended our 2019 Summer Picnic on July 21 at the beautiful park-like setting of St. Luke’s Presbyterian Church in Rolling Hills Estates. The audience was entertained by a jazz band consisting of Palos Verdes High School students and alums, followed by a program of speakers. We have now posted photos from the event–be sure to click on the page scroll at the bottom of the gallery to see all the photos.
We were delighted that Congresswoman Nanette Barragán managed an unexpected and unscheduled visit, meaning that at one point, we had 3 members of Congress at our picnic, including our keynote speaker Ted Lieu and Orange County congressman Harley Rouda. For a more detailed report on the picnic, read our latest Palos Verdes Democrats newsletter by reading our August 2019 issue of the PV Democrats newsletter.
