We’re suing Georgia, Alabama, Ohio, and Kentucky for passing unconstitutional abortion bans. But we need all hands on deck if we’re going to take back our abortion rights.
No matter where you live, you have a stake in this fight – and we need your support. Here’s what you can do today, on this national day of action to #StopTheBans:
- Join us in the streets to protest the bans. Enter your zipcode to find a rally near you.
- Take the pledge to defend our reproductive freedom.
- Share this #StopTheBans message on Facebook or Twitter to let everyone know you’re in this fight with us.
- Wear your abortion rights on your sleeve: Buy this exclusive T-shirt to demand abortion access for all.
It’s no coincidence that this is happening now. These bans are the culmination of a decades-long, nationwide effort to eliminate access to abortion.
Abortion opponents have been emboldened by President Trump, who appointed two new anti-abortion justices to the Supreme Court. That’s why, even though the vast majority of Americans support the right to abortion, Roe v. Wade is on the line.
Reggie, we don’t have a second to spare. We must make loud and clear that the decision whether to become a parent is ours to make – not politicians’.
Thanks for joining us,
Director of the ACLU Reproductive Freedom Project
