The PV Democrats hosted our 2017 annual picnic and installation of the new Board of Directors on July 16 at the beautiful grounds of the St. Luke’s Presbyterian Church in Rolling Hills Estates.
As usual, we had many of our local elected officials. Attendees also had a chance to meet democratic challengers to local Republican congressman. Harley Rouda (48th CD), who would like to help us forget who Dana Rohrabacher, spoke, as did Katie Hill and Jess Phoenix, who are running to unseat Steve Knight in the 25th congressional district (Simi Valley, Lancaster, Santa Clarita, Palmdale) have agreed to come.
