CNN recently published an article about how Kamela Harris,

viewed as an up-and-coming politician on the national scene, was approaching her first year very differently than previous notables Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.  Perhaps largely because of the election of Donald Trump, she has taken a more aggressive and visible role than the script for a first term senator would suggest.
