PVP Democrats Monthly Meeting

Please join us tomorrow, January 21, 2018, as the Palos Verdes Democrats host our first club meeting for 2018 at 2:30 pm in the community room of the Peninsula Center Library.

Speaker Asif Mahmood, MD is running for Insurance Commissioner (he had initiallyplanned to run for Lieutenant Governor, but realized who would have more experience with insurance companies than a doctor, right?). Plus we will also have speakers from Bend The Arc to screen a short film and lead a discussion on criminal justice reform.

A hardbound copy of Fire and Fury is our fundraising opportunity for tomorrow, so make a contribution and take home the book everyone is trying to get their hands on!

For those of you who took part in the Women’s March, here’s a way to have your creative march signs viewed one more time….bring them in to share at our Dem meeting so we all can appreciate the messages you worked so hard to convey.

At our meeting we will have stamps for your dollar bills with the message “Stamp Money Out of Politics.” MoveOn wants to make January 21— the anniversary of Citizens United and conveniently the date of our meeting—the biggest day of stamping ever, so bring your bills of any denomination in to be stamped (and yes, this is perfectly legal).
