PV Democrats September Meeting

Join us for our virtual September club meeting. Our meeting starts at 2:30, but join us at 2 pm to chat with other Democrats.
The theme for this month’s meeting is Making a Difference and Appraising the Governor’s Recall Results.
Our speakers:
Sergio Carrillo, LACDP Vice Chair, will discuss the results of Governor Newsom’s Recall election
Steve Goldsmith, Torrance Refinery Action Alliance (TRAA) President, will speak about the latest TRAA sessions with the EPA
Amardeep Gill, Grocery and Retail Campaign Director for LAANE (Los Angeles Alliance for a New Economy), will speak about the CVS Workers contract, Fair Workweek campaign, and the Clean Ports legislation
Newsome’s win is a MUST!!!
Looks as if Newsom will beat the recall. Larry Elder was a gift to the NO on the Recall campaign; he woke up a lot of dems who were not energized. We still have to get out the vote. Gov. Newsome has to win BIG to discourage, hopefully, more shenanigans by the GOP.
