PV Democrats March Meeting

Join us for our virtual March club meeting.  Our meeting starts at 2:30, but join us at 2 pm to chat with other Democrats.

The theme for this month’s meeting is Do Pieces of the Puzzle Fit Together?  Individual Policies that Make Up California’s Decarbonization Plan

Mohit Chhabra, a senior scientist at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), focuses on affecting policy to accelerate the transition to a sustainable and clean energy future.  He will speak on CA’s politics on meeting their carbon neutral challenges and the controversy about net metering.

Dr. Loraine Lundquist, a physicist and climate activist, will speak about The Los Angeles 100% Renewable Energy Study (LA100), which she worked on.

Al Muratsuchi, CA Assemblymember representing the 66th Assembly District and Chair of the Joint Legislative Committee on Climate Change Policies, will update us on the state’s programs, policies, and investments related to climate change.
