Join Moms Demand Action to Rally Against Gun Violence

Hello from Los Angeles South Bay Moms Demand Action! We are invigorated and inspired by the enthusiasm in the South Bay community to support this important cause.

The California Chapter of Moms Demand Action is growing at an exponential rate, with new volunteers stepping up in communities across the state. Our South Bay group was formed by El Segundo moms who started meeting monthly last fall, and we wanted to introduce ourselves and invite you to our kickoff meeting on Sunday, March 25.

Our meeting will be an opportunity for you to learn more about Moms Demand Action’s mission, history, key initiatives and successes. Ways to get involved will include: working on key legislative initiatives on the local, state and federal level, encouraging South Bay community mayors to join Mayors Against Illegal Guns, stopping federal legislation such as Concealed Carry Reciprocity, spreading awareness with Be SMART for Kids, a campaign to reduce child gun deaths, and planning and participating in Wear Orange on National Gun Violence Awareness Day.

There are things you can do right now. Click here to Join the Gun Sense Action Network to make phone calls to voters in battleground states and grow our movement. Call your legislators and tell them you are a gun sense voter  and take action with our Throw. Them. Out campaign.
