The upcoming municipal election on March 7 is a reminder, if you haven’t already done so, to register as a Permanent Vote-by-Mail voter. If you are interested, visit the CA Secretary of State site.
The club does not endorse candidates. However, you can visit the LA County Democratic Party endorsement page to see the Democratic party endorsements. The party supports County Measure H, the plan to combat homelessness, and provides the following guidance for LA Community College District Board of Trustees:
Los Angeles Community College District
District 2 – Steve Veres
District 4 – Dallas Fowler
District 6 – Gabriel Buelna
If you live in Palos Verdes Estates, you are voting for City Council and City Treasurer. None of the candidates have solicited party endorsement. The LA County Democratic Party does support Measure D, the parcel tax to support fire and paramedic service.
