Donald Trump wants to eliminate the Department of Environment. OK, so let’s, for the moment, pretend that such a department actually existed. It says that Donald Trump would want to reverse 40 years of environmental progress.
Two EPA administrators who served under Republican presidents have issued a joint statement endorsing Hillary Clinton for president. William Ruckelshaus (the first EPA administrator under Richard Nixon, and then later under Ronald Reagan) and William Reilly (who served under George HW Bush) noted Trump’s “profound ignorance of science.”
